At Loch Lomond Villa, we provide caring living environments.

Loch Lomond Villa is a large campus consisting of two sites: the main building (the Villa) and a second building, directly across the street (the Village). Our campus also includes three independent living apartment buildings.

Located at 185 Loch Lomond Road, the Villa is comprised of a 90-bed nursing home (Birch, Elm and Evergreen Houses), our central lounge, the main administration offices, the café, family rooms, a theatre, courtyards and a solarium, the country store, the chapel and the 300-seat Simonds Lions Auditorium. Our Seniors Wellness Centre and Seniors Outreach Program and Supportive Housing Program are located in apartment building 1.

Located at 164 Loch Lomond Road, the Village is a 100-bed nursing home consisting of four resident houses (Cedar, Dogwood, Maple and Willow Houses). Each is home to 25 residents. The amenities of the Village include: glass-covered atriums, an open-air courtyard, a theatre, a café, celebration rooms for activities, the library, a walking path and a labyrinth.

Our apartment buildings provide a sense of independence and community. Many of our buildings are connected by pedways. This allows our residents to move around freely and have easy-access to whatever they need, like our beauty salon, country store, clinic and all of our on-site services.

We have three buildings on site:

  • Building 1 (six story complex) – includes 54 studio apartments and 36 one-bedroom apartments. This building houses our Supportive Housing Program which has 18 all-inclusive suites featuring meal service, housekeeping and laundry.
  • Building 2 (eight story complex) – includes 30 studio apartments and 106 one-bedroom apartments.
  • Building 3 (a partnership with the Department of Municipalities, Culture and Housing) – includes 5 two-bedroom apartments and 23 one-bedroom apartments. NB Housing determines placement. Rental rates are based on individual incomes.
